MEET THE TAXIDERMIST
Hello! I’m Dustin Ford, the proud owner and taxidermist of Double Shovel Taxidermy. Growing up in the beautiful landscapes of Michigan, I developed a deep appreciation for nature and the great outdoors. My time was spent chasing white tail in northern Michigan and pursing waterfowl on Wildfowl Bay.

During my time in the Army I was fortunate enough to be stationed here in Alaska where my love of hunting and fishing grew even more. ​After my contract ended I decided make Alaska my permanent home and pursue my passion of preserving wildlife.

My artistic creativity and attention to detail is evident in each and every one of my pieces. I strive and work hard to provide the highest quality craftsmanship when bringing your trophy back to life! I am honored to be your taxidermist.

Drop Off/Pick Up:
We are available 7 days a week and can work around your schedule. Contact us to schedule an appointment.
Our Policy:
All mounts require a 50% deposit at the time of drop off with remaining balance due upon pick up. Deposits are non refundable. Projects go out the door the order they come in. Rush jobs require 1.5 times the original cost. Any prices posted online are subject to change or vary by case.
